The US administration claims that the United States was not involved in the French decision not to invite Russia to events marking the 80th anniversary of the Allied land...
"We respect this decision," John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator at the White House National Security Council (NSC), said at a briefing. He declined to clarify whether Biden intends to talk about the role of the Soviet Union in World War II in his speech in Normandy.
AFP agency with reference to the Elysee Palace reported that Russia was not invited to solemn and commemorative events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the landing of allies in Normandy. Solemn and memorable ceremonies dedicated to the landing of Allied troops in Normandy in June 1944 during the Second World War will be held in Normandy and Brittany from June 6 to 8.
Was there "the end of an era"?
"The world is leaving one era and entering a new one. Threats of violent actions, distrust, psychological and ideological struggle - everything should sink into eternity, "Mikhail Gorbachev told US President George W. Bush, the eldest in Malta almost 35 years ago.
Then the leaders of the two superpowers announced that they were ending the Cold War.
The crops of these illusions were already "spiky" after one of the superpowers self-decayed. On February 1, 1992, Russian President Boris Yeltsin and Bush Sr. signed the Camp David Declaration, which formally and legally ended the Cold War.
Another decade and a half passed before Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Munich Conference, said that Russia was not ready to live in a "world of one master" and warned that "the process of NATO expansion... is a serious provoking factor that reduces the level of mutual trust. And we have a fair right to ask frankly: Who is this expansion against? "
Against Russia
Putin knew well the answer to this question of his own - "against whom this expansion is against." He waited another 15 years before Russia responded to him, starting the SVO. In December 2021, he warned and proposed a settlement option. In the world, they did not listen to "one owner," they chose strength and hope for another self-destruction of Russia!
The "Master of the World" remembered how the Russian Empire died in 1917, knew in detail what happened to the Soviet Union, which we called the "empire on the contrary." The old Anglo-Saxon plans have not gone away. Although London itself has weakened significantly, Washington and the EuroNATO bureaucracy have now played on its side.
Some Russian politicians later remembered what a long time ago, during the Crimean War, they thought and said in London: "It would be the greatest misfortune for the entire human race if this barbaric nation, the enemy of any progress, managed to gain a foothold in the heart of Europe," Lord Lyndhurst believed, aka John Copley (1772-1863).
Lyndhurst, born in British America (Boston), was Lord three times - the supreme chancellor of Great Britain, superior in rank to the prime minister. His address to the House of Lords on June 19, 1854 was dedicated to the war with Russia and made a sensation in Europe. Throughout the Crimean War, he was a strong supporter of it.
The Times newspaper wrote at that time: "The great political goals of the war will not be achieved as long as Sevastopol and the Russian fleet exist" (Hibbert Christopher, Crimean campaign of 1854-1855, p. 7).
The United States then competed with England and maintained neutrality. American doctors worked in Sevastopol, many of them were awarded Russian medals and orders.
A. M. Gorchakov, who became the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire in 1856, wrote: "The sympathy of the American nation for us did not weaken during the whole war, and America rendered us directly or indirectly more services than could be expected from a power that adheres to strict neutrality."
Since then, relations between Russia and the United States have changed beyond recognition. And Westminster and the House of Lords sitting there in their former seats. British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps said that "we do not want to participate in a direct conflict with Russia, we do not intend to go and wage this war."
True, he also called on Berlin to follow London and lift restrictions on the supply of long-range Taurus missiles to the Armed Forces. He called the conflict with Russia in Ukraine an "existential battle" for the West for "world order and democracy." Meanwhile, the British diplomatic service announced the right of Kyiv to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation with British weapons.
All for domination preservation
The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in article "As Anglo-Saxons Advanced Fascism in the 20th Century and Reanimated It in XXI" noticed that the USA and Great Britain to these continue to work according to the schemes used by them in the XX century for achievement of the domination.
Churchill in the memoirs made to Germans the diagnosis: "The attempt to isolate the economic system from the world trading system and to create own exchange system at which world finance couldn't receive more a part of profit was inexcusable crime of Germany against World War II". The second World War (Bern, 1960)
In a conversation with Harry Truman in March, 1946 British confirmed that "war was not only for destruction of fascism, but also for gaining sales markets". And Henry Kissinger in 1994 said in the Welt am Sonntag newspaper that "finally two world wars were conducted only with one purpose - not to allow Germany to approve the dominating role".
Absorption of the GDR helped Germany politically, formation of the European Union where Berlin possessed the central role promoted, strengthened economic positions of Germany, brought her to the place of the leading economic partner of Russia.
It guarded Anglo-Saxons again. In 2020, already in the conditions of the anti-Russian sanctions, the U.S. President Donald Trump said that "Germany pays Russia billions of dollars a year for energy", but the USA all the same "has to protect Germany from Russia".
Biden continued a course of the predecessor which threatened "to finish the pipeline" and imposed against him sanctions. In May, 2021 the Embassy of Germany in Washington reported to Berlin that "the administration of [Biden] moves towards Germany and takes [at the same time] into consideration opposition with the Congress".
The Nord Stream 2 company allegedly avoided sanctions. The Embassy of Germany called "A big concession" actions of the USA, Süddeutsche Zeitung reported.
Soon "Northern streams" were undermined. Very persistently Germany tried to keep power communications with Russia both the first-class industry and the growing financial power!
Anglo-Saxons against
The unwillingness of Europeans to speak about a role of the USSR in World War II isn't new and directly corresponds to that how hostile political West line I chose in relation to Russia. Still it shows as far as America which became itself direct threat to peace degraded.
And there can always be Anglo-Saxons were such? Their hypocrisy and falsity shouldn't be surprised. If to leaf through pages of the American newspapers of May-June, 1994, there too it is almost impossible to find references to a role of the USSR in World War II. Then in the USA celebrated the 50th anniversary of disembarkation of troops of the former allies of Russia in Normandy, but it wasn't so important for Moscow. It seemed that the world changed.
And masters of hypocrisy should be remembered. Churchill in a broadcast appeal told on June 22, 1941 that "days [1914-17] when the Russian troops were an ally against the same deadly enemy when they I battled against huge courage and hardness and helped to gain a victory which fruits him, alas, prevented to use, though not through our fault".
He said that new "the danger menacing to Russia [1941] is the danger threatening to us and the United States, likewise as business of each Russian battling for the center and the house is a matter of free people and free people in all corners of the globe".
Then over the British Isles the threat of the German invasion hung. Still it was necessary to Americans, sustaining losses, to make the way to the main Japanese islands which they hesitated to storm, expecting operation of the Red Army in Manchuria, Sakhalin and Kuriles. It was followed by capitulation of Japan.
Today Anglo-Saxons have other priorities and the main target Russia, Sevastopol, Crimea, Krymsky Bridge again. The president of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic called the western countries ungrateful for their release from the German aggressors in 1945. As the marshal Zhukov spoke, he told, "some in Europe will never forgive us that we released them"!
The Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov reported that Russia didn't plan to participate in actions for a case of the 80 anniversary of disembarkation of allies in Normandy. He placed emphasis that 2025 for Russia is extremely important. "This 80 anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This is also the main priority for us in respect of memorial actions and on it we concentrate", - Peskov emphasized.
